Sparkman Club is located in Northwest Dallas, near the intersections of Royal and Marsh lanes. The neighborhood offers excellent public schools as well as proximity to some of the best private schools in Dallas.

To be eligible for membership, applicants must either reside (as homeowners or renters) within the boundaries of the club or have previously been a member of the club while living within the boundaries. Grown children of current and former Sparkman members are also eligible for membership.
Sparkman Club is bordered by Webb Chapel on the west, Royal Lane on the north, Marsh Lane on the east, and Merrell Lane on the south. It also includes Camelot and Baroness drives just south of Merrell.
Area Schools
Sparkman’s neighborhood elementary school, E.L. DeGolyer, is one of the most highly regarded elementary schools in the city. It feeds into TEA-Recognized T.C. Marsh Middle School and, from there, into W.T. White High School, which is recognized on U.S. News & World Report’s list of the best public high schools in the country. And, because Sparkman is part of the Dallas Independent School District, students in our neighborhood are eligible to apply to any of the city’s highly regarded magnet schools.
We are also a short drive from many of the city’s finest private schools, including St. Monica School, St. Rita School, Episcopal School of Dallas, The Hockaday School, St. Marks School, Good Shepherd Episcopal, Ursuline Academy, The Greenhill School, Jesuit, Covenant School, Parish Episcopal School, and many, many others.
Sparkman Patrol
The Sparkman Extended Neighborhood Patrol (ENP) is a voluntary initiative that enhances safety in the Sparkman community. It employs uniformed, armed, off-duty Dallas police officers who patrol the area in marked Dallas police vehicles. The program’s goal is to proactively deter crime within the neighborhood, as opposed to reactive policing. Participation is optional, with annual membership fees used to finance the extra patrols. Established in 2005, the program was initiated by a resident of Sparkman.
Sparkman Patrol Membership Benefits:
Sparkman Patrol Officer Cell Phone
This is a dedicated cell phone with voice mail for our patrol officers to use solely for Sparkman Patrol. You will receive this number to report suspicious activity, request assistance, report a past incident, or to notify the officer you will be out of town.
Sparkman Patrol Website
Monthly Crime Alert Emails
Members will receive emails about crime activity and tips on a monthly basis. These alerts keep the members informed of what is happening in the neighborhood. Alerts are derived from reported incidents via members, other neighboring crime watch committees and the police department.
Out of Town Notification
Members may submit an out of town notification with the patrol officer via cell phone voice mail. When out of town, the officer will pay extra attention to your home to ensure there are no visible signs of trouble. They will check your home at the start of their shift and at the end of their shift.
Sparkman Patrol Signage
Members may purchase yard or alley signs with the Sparkman Patrol logo. These signs will indicate that you are a member of Sparkman patrol. This will help officers locate your home easier, act as a crime deterrent and show support of the program.
Membership Eligibility
- Must reside within the Sparkman Club Estates boundaries
- Must pay the minimum annual dues of $150 per family per year or minimum senior dues of $90 per year. Full membership dues are $250.
